Union Lawsuit
CLASS ACTION SUIT AGAINST FIRST UNION CORPORATION
Anyone who entered into a mortgage finance transaction with First
Union Corporation (parent company of First Union Bank), First Union
Mortgage Corporation (subsidiary of First Union Corporation), Alliance
Mortgage Company, or Alliance Capital Partners – the Defendants
– and who was charged a fee for a monthly mortgage statement
between August 15, 1995 and the present, may be eligible to join
a class action lawsuit.
The class action includes
many members, most who don't even know that there are such claims
on their behalf. Or, the claims may seem too small to justify an
individual lawsuit. As a class action, however, the total damages
are substantial. (Please note: Amount of damages to be determined.)
NOT eligible to join the suit are the Defendants, their parent companies,
subsidiaries and affiliates, and any person whose mortgage agreement
clearly indicates that the lendee is required to
pay such fees.
If you think First Union Mortgage Corporation may have charged you
fees that were not spelled out in your mortgage agreement, please
contact us.
You mean I have to pay for my monthly mortgage statement?
This plaintiff
found out what First Union was doing, was wrong.
